Life Project is the strategic outreach of Northside Baptist consisting of four distinct programs designed to target and transform its local community and surrounding areas with food insecurity being its primary focus.
Life Farms– Food insecurity is defined as “the state of being without reliable access to a sufficient quantity of affordable, nutritious food.” Life Farms’ purpose is to grow and provide clean, sustainable food to the identified food deserts in the community, as well as to educate families on the creation of neighborhood gardens and raised beds.
Life Kids– We impact and transform the youth through bible classes, mentoring, tutoring, character building, empowerment and early prevention through our partnership with local schools and ministries.
Life Rescue– By partnering with local organizations, ministries and churches, we aim to rescue and restore vulnerable women who have fallen victim to domestic violence, human trafficking and other horrific circumstances by providing awareness, discipleship, prayer, resources and volunteers.
Life Reach– We strive to meet the basic daily needs of food, clothing and shelter by utilizing street reach, clothes closet , the food pantry and transportation.
