Welcome to the Treehouse
At Northside Baptist Church we want to partner with you, the parent, in helping you raise Biblical kids.
In every Sunday activity, our goal is to focus on one message per week. The same lesson will be taught in Sunday School and taught in a different way in Treehouse Worship. This method insures that children learn the Bible message for life instead of having several different Bible ideas thrown at them at once. We look forward to walking beside you in growing the faith of your child.
Check in starts at 9:00AM in the Treehouse. Our classes are by grade and gender. We use the Gospel Project curriculum from Lifeway and kids learn how Jesus is present in the great stories of the Bible.
Kids can check in in the Treehouse or will go straight from Sunday School. Treehouse Worship is a high energy kids worship time with games, singing, drama, Bible story video, snacks and small groups. Your kids don’t want to miss one week in the Treehouse. On the last Sunday of each month, kids will join their parents in adult worship service for Family Worship.
On Wednesday nights we host the Awana program. Awana reaches kids for Christ through fun, Scripture-rich experiences that lead them to know, love and serve Him.
Kids represent the greatest opportunity to make a long-term impact on our world for Christ. Awana reaches kids where they’re at and walks alongside them in their faith journey. Those kids who come to faith at an early age discover God’s purpose for their lives and hope for the future. Ministry leaders and parents witness the profound impact Awana has in reaching kids with the gospel and watching them grow as long-term disciples.
Awana is every Wednesday evening throughout the year from 6:15 PM (check-in) to 7:45 PM (dismissal).
